Your mornings are nobody else’s business.

What the app stores

Slowrise keeps your wake plans, the days you’ve assigned them to, and your morning history in your iPhone’s own app storage. Your scheduled alarms are additionally held by iOS itself, through Apple’s AlarmKit, so they can ring while the app is closed. All of this stays on your device and is covered by your device’s encryption.

If you have iCloud device backups turned on, that storage may be included in your backup — that is between you and Apple, and we have no access to it.

What the app sends

Nothing. Slowrise makes no network requests. It has no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party trackers. We cannot see when your alarms are set, whether you snoozed, or that you use the app at all.

What we never collect

We do not collect your name, contacts, location, health or sleep data, microphone or camera input, or any device identifier. We do not build a profile of you and we have nothing to sell or share, so we don’t.

This website

slowriseapp.com is a static site hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for delivery and security purposes. Fonts are served from this site rather than a third party, and we add no analytics or tracking cookies of our own.

Children

Slowrise is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because the app holds no data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to hand over or erase. Deleting Slowrise from your iPhone removes everything it stored, including its scheduled alarms.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. If a change ever means Slowrise starts collecting something, we’ll say so plainly in the app before it does.
